Orphaned Sloth Care Kit

Social Innovation Tool Kit  

This kit was created to help orphaned infant sloths in Costa Rican sanctuaries. The kit includes everything a caretaker would need for an incoming orphaned sloth, including goat’s milk, Pedialyte, towels, a surrogate mother (stuffed animal), a journal, and feeding tools. The stickers go to donors who purchase the kit as a thank you to those who help fund the kits via the sanctuary’s on-line website. The project was setup to enable the designer a chance to explore diverse aspects across platforms of the field. This kit was taken from concept to mock-up to fully realized packaging with processes in logo design, letterpress, screen printing, contacting vendors, digital production, file structure, and physically realized container.
